Meet Halie, William, and Weslie. These three munchkins have a passion for giving back. Every year they look forward to "Giving Christmas" to kids in need. 5 years ago they blessed by a RAK (Random Act of Kindness). A kind person provided them with Christmas presents when our family had fallen on hard times. Once our family was back on our feet, these three want to do the same for other kids with their comunnity. Now every year we look forward to "Giving Christmas". This year our goal is to provide presents for 100 kids within the comunnity. Please help us share our story by liking our Facebook page "Giving Christmas 2015", and sharing it with your family and friends.

Help Us Make A Difference With Giving Christmas

Here's our video from Giving Christmas 2014. We were able to provide 84 children with Christmas gifts. The best part was watching their reactions, when the curtains were pulled open! This year our goal is to be able to provide Christmas gifts for 100 kids.

We need your help in getting the word out. We're asking everyone to like our Facebook page "Giving Christmas 2015", and invite your friends and family to follow our story too. The kids we will be helping out this year are in Haltom City, TX. These families are not in a position to provide presents for their kiddos. We want to give these families hope, let them know they are loved, and take a little off their shoulders during the holidays. If you're not able to donate a toy, you can show your support at:
http://www.gofundme.com/GivingChristmas15 . A $5 gift can purchase a present for a child in k-6th grade. We will also need to purchase wrapping supplies this year, and the food and arts & crafts for the party. If your would like to help out with this need please let us know. We can't wait to see how Giving Christmas 2015 turns out!

Giving Christmas 2015 Project

This will be the 5th year our family has been able to do a service project that we call "Giving Christmas". We have 3 kiddos (ages 9, 7, and 5) that look forward to giving Christmas to kids that are less fortunate every year. Our goal is to help 100 kids within our community receive holiday gifts this year. We will be surprising them with a holiday party (food/arts & crafts), and they'll be handed a bag full of handpick gifts. Helps us make a difference with Giving Christmas! The more we can share, the closer we get to our goal. Thank you!

Our Story

5 years ago my family of 5 moved out of a motel we lived in for 2 years. Most families living there stay in a 2 bedroom suite that is total of 575 square feet of living space. We were living paycheck to paycheck, and when Christmas rolled around we were not in a position to purchase gifts for our children. A few days before Christmas someone did a Random Act of Kindness, and dropped off presents for all the kids that lived at the motel. It brought so much joy to all of the children, most of which were sure they wouldn't be receiving anything.
A few nights before Christmas I was the receipant of another Random Act of Kindness. I was working a big top and a single table. The man at my table could see that the large table was taking most of my time, but was very patient and kind. In between drinks and food I was able to talk with him about his family and mine. He left me $10 , then headed out. No more than 10 minutes later, I turned around and there he was again. He gave me a hug, slid something in the side of my apron, and told me, "Have a Merry Christmas!". I reached into my apron and pulled out $800. I was so overwhelmed by his generosity that God had called him to. I couldn't stop crying. He had given my family hope, showed us unconditional love, and made it possible for my family to move out of the motel. After praying about what we should do with the money we had left over, we used the money to buy presents for families that were stuggling the way we were, so we could pass on the blessing that God had given us and His love.

Since we moved out, we have paid that blessing forward and have made "Giving Christmas" a family tradition. Every year we have watch God grow this, and have seen his hand at work.
